The Chain planner works out which Remnants to detonate, and in what order, so the best runes cascade down the chain instead of being wasted.
Opening it in game: first turn it on under Overlays → Overlays, then add its button under Overlays → Overlays → Feature Bar → Buttons so it shows on the Feature Bar pinned over the game's XP bar (or in the Selection Wheel). You can also bind a hotkey under Overlays → Hotkeys.
Opening it
Enable it under Overlays → Overlays → Expedition Chain and bind its hotkey there — Ctrl+Alt+H by default. Press the hotkey to open the Chain popout, or open Expedition → Chain.
Reading the result
Build the chain in Map mode on the canvas or follow it in List mode. Drop Remnants on the canvas and set each one's rewards — this works in any language with no screen reading. The planner shows the suggested detonation order and can paint the markers over the game. Jackpot recipes, including Aldur's Legacy, are ranked above ordinary rewards.
Tips
- Prefer entering rewards by hand; turn on Screen reading in this pane only if you want it to read the site from the screen (experimental, off by default).
- Use the in-game markers so you detonate in the planned order without switching windows.
