Remnants add modifiers to the monsters and the reward, and some of those modifiers can wipe a good run. The Remnant assistant reads the Remnant you hover in game and suggests whether it is safe to detonate next — so you grow the explosion without blowing yourself up.
Open it from the Expedition hub, from the in-game bar, or bind a hotkey under Overlays → Hotkeys. Each Expedition overlay has its own on/off switch and its own rebindable hotkey.
What it does
- Hover a Remnant in game. ePOE reads the reward and modifiers on the Remnant you are looking at.
- It weighs the danger of those modifiers and suggests the safest Remnant to detonate next.
- You make the call. The assistant only watches the pick you make yourself and never clicks, reads game memory, or touches the game, so it stays fully within the game’s rules.
How to read it
Take the suggested Remnant unless you have a reason not to. A modifier that is merely annoying is fine to eat; one that reflects or rips through your defences is the one to route around.
Tips
- Chain toward value, not just size — a bigger blast that drags in a lethal modifier is a net loss.
- Know your own build’s weak spot; the assistant weighs danger in general, you weigh it for your character.
