Sales History is the record of what you sold, and for how much. My Shop tells you what is still listed. Merchant History is GGG's own trade feed. Sales History is the list of completed sales, priced, kept on your account so it follows you to every machine.
Open it from the Shop icon on the rail, then the Sales History tab. It is marked Beta.
Where the sales come from
ePOE fills the ledger from two places, and each one knows something the other doesn't.
| Source | What it records | What it can't know |
|---|---|---|
| Scan Panel (the in-game Sales History panel) | The item and the price it sold for | Who bought it, and when |
Your chat log (Client.txt) | The item, the buyer and when the trade went through | The price |
The panel is the only place the game shows a sale's price. A Path of Exile 2 buy whisper names the item but not the price, so a sale picked up from the chat log has no price. That is why Scan Panel is the one to use.
Scanning the panel
- In game, open your Sales History panel so the list of sold items is on screen.
- In ePOE, press Scan Panel on the Sales Ledger card. It reads Reading Panel… while it works.
- The card tells you what happened:
- +N imported from the panel: new sales were added. - panel read — nothing new: everything on screen was already in your ledger. - Open your Sales History in-game, then Scan Panel: the panel wasn't on screen. - couldn't read the panel: the panel was found but no sales could be read. Try again with nothing covering it.
ePOE reads the game window on your own PC, in the language your game client is set to. It never types anything into the game and never clicks for you.
From inside the game
You don't have to alt-tab to scan:
- The Sales History Scan hotkey. It is unbound by default. Give it a key under Overlays → Hotkeys → Tool windows. Open the panel in game and press it: ePOE scans the panel, then shows the Sales History window over the game without taking focus away from it.
- The Feature Bar button. Sales History is on the Feature Bar by default. It opens Sales History as a window over the game, with its own Scan Panel button. To hide or show the button, open the Feature Bar page on the rail and use Buttons.
Scanning every page
The in-game panel only shows one page of sales at a time, and ePOE can only read what is on screen.
- Scan each page. Scan, turn to the next page in game, scan again, and keep going to the end.
- Rescanning is safe. Scanning the same page twice never adds a sale twice, so if you lose your place, go back a page and scan again.
- Keep the panel clear. Move your cursor off the list so no item tooltip covers a row, and close anything drawn on top of the panel.
- Scan after a selling session, not after every sale. One pass over the new pages catches everything.
Sales from your chat log
With Read Client.txt switched on (Settings → Price Checks → Behavior; it is on by default), ePOE watches for an incoming buy whisper followed by Trade accepted within 30 minutes. That pair becomes a sale with the buyer's name and the time it went through. A trade you cancel is not counted.
The log is checked again each time ePOE starts, so sales you made while ePOE was closed still show up.
Rescan & Sync reads your whole Client.txt again from the top, along with any backup or archived copies sitting next to it (Client.txt.1, .old files and copies). Then it saves your sales to your account and pulls back the ones from your other machines. It reads Scanning… while it runs. Use it after a reinstall, or when you have an old log you want to import.
Reading the ledger
- Item names are in their in-game colors: yellow for rares, orange for uniques, blue for magic, and special colors such as Remnants of Kalguur exactly as the panel draws them.
- Panel sales have no date and no buyer, because the panel doesn't show them. Their row ends at the price. Chat-log sales show the buyer.
- Totals adds up your sales in each currency, for whatever the list is currently showing.
- Sales is the list itself, 60 to a page. Search with Search item or buyer…, or pick a Currency chip to see only sales paid in that currency. If nothing matches, Clear Filters resets both.
No duplicates
Each sale has a fixed identity, so rescanning the panel, running Rescan & Sync or pulling from another machine never counts a sale twice. When the same item is read with slightly different spelling, ePOE matches it to the game's item name and merges the two.
One thing to know: a panel sale is identified by its item, amount and currency, because the panel gives nothing else. If you sell two identical items for exactly the same price, they show as one row.
Synced to your account and epoe.io
Your sales are stored on your epoe.io account and synced across every machine you sign in on. They also show on the website: on epoe.io, open Shop → Sales History, or Sales History under Trading Tools in the sidebar.
Sales History doesn't need your Path of Exile session. It reads the game screen and your chat log, not the trade site.
When a scan misreads
Every scan saves the frame it looked at to %APPDATA%\ePoe Overlay\scanner-captures\sales-history. If a scan keeps missing rows or reading the wrong price, attach the newest capture to a report under Help → Submit a Bug.
