When you price-check a stackable item — currency, Omens, essences, runes, fragments, gems or Verisium crests — the price panel shows two different things. They answer different questions.
Market Value card
The card at the top is the going market rate for your selected league:
- the price, in Divine or Exalted;
- the 24h and 7 Days change;
- a small price chart and the trade Volume.
This is an aggregate over time. Use it to answer "what is this worth?"
Live exchange offers
Below the card are the offers on the currency exchange right now. Read them like this:
- The big number is the typical offer, not the cheapest one. The very cheapest offer is often a bait or stale listing of a few units, so ePOE leads with a stock-weighted middle of the cheapest offers and keeps the cheapest as a footnote.
- "Thin market — not a reliable price" appears when an exchange rate sits more than three times away from the market value, usually because there are only a few offers in that currency. Trust the Market Value card over that line.
Use the exchange to answer "what can I sell or buy this for in the next few minutes?"
Related currencies
Under the offers, the panel lists the item's related currencies with their prices — the other tiers of the same essence, the other Omens of the same family, and so on. Handy when you are deciding which tier to buy or sell.
Which one should I use?
- Selling a stack now: start from the typical exchange offer, and sanity-check it against the Market Value card.
- Valuing loot or planning a craft: use the Market Value card.
- The two disagree a lot: the market is moving or thin. Check the 24h change and volume before you commit.
