Stash Prices paints a small price badge over the stash cells you choose, whenever the stash is open on the tab they belong to. It is for the dump tab of uniques you haven't listed, the currency tab you keep meaning to count, and the one rare you're waiting to sell. The settings live in Overlays → Overlays → Stash Prices.
Tracking a slot
Open your stash, hover an item and press Ctrl+Alt+K (Track Stash Slot). ePOE copies the item, snaps your cursor to its cell, and remembers it together with the stash tab it read. Press it again on the same item and the badge moves rather than duplicating.
- Ctrl+Alt+J (Untrack Stash Slot) forgets the slot under your cursor.
- Clear Tracked Slots forgets every slot on every tab. It is unbound by default — assign one under Overlays → Hotkeys, or use Forget all on the Stash Prices pane.
The overlay must be attached to Path of Exile 2 for any of this to work.
Where the prices come from
- Uniques and currency use ePOE's market cache and refresh on their own.
- Rares use your own most recent price check for that item. If there isn't one, tracking starts a silent price check in the background and the badge fills in when it finishes.
- A badge showing ? has no price yet. Click it to retry, or hover the item and press your price-check hotkey. Any check you run by hand fills matching ? badges too.
No game memory is ever read. The badge is only as current as the price behind it.
Stash detection and tabs
On Windows, ePOE reads the stash header with Windows OCR to know when the stash is open and which tab is showing. That is Automatic stash-open detection under Settings → General → Screen reading. The title alone is not trusted: the stash is only treated as open when the panel also *looks* open on screen — its gold title banner and framed panel — so a dimmed stash behind the pause menu, the world map or a merchant window no longer shows badges. Badges then only appear on the tab they were tracked on.
Badges hide when the item is gone. ePOE remembers what each tracked cell looked like. When the item has moved, or sold out of a shop tab, the cell no longer matches and its badge hides instead of pricing an empty square. Put the item back and the badge returns; track it in its new cell to move the badge with it.
If the tab name can't be read when you track a slot, the slot is filed under an unknown tab and its badge shows on every tab. The drawer tells you how many slots that affects. Clear them and track them again once the tab name reads. On Linux there is no stash detection: badges stay visible while the game is attached, whatever tab is open.
The Stash Value drawer
With Total Stash Value drawer switched on, a small pill sits over the game showing the total value of your tracked slots. Drag it anywhere. Expand it with the arrow for:
- This tab and All tracked tabs totals, in Exalted (or Divine, if that is your currency display).
- A per-tab breakdown, and how many tracked slots are actually priced.
- Your most recent Stash Valuation snapshot, with its age, for comparison.
Where the overlay can't take mouse input (Linux), use Drawer expanded on the pane to open the breakdown instead.
Currency hover card and quad tabs
- Currency hover card — while the stash is open, hovering a currency shows its Divine, Exalted and Chaos value, 24 h and 7 d change, volume and a sparkline. It reuses the slot-hover OCR, so there is no extra screen reading.
- Quad-tab grid — quad tabs (24×24) are recognised on their own; this switch only forces the 24×24 grid if a quad tab is ever not picked up.
- Badge size — Tiny, Small or Medium.
Special tabs
Currency, essence, runes, soul cores, fragments, catalysts, delirium, expedition, ritual and the other special tabs do not use a square grid. A tracked slot on one of them snaps to the real slot the game draws for that item, found from the tab's name, rather than to the nearest cell of a 12×12 grid.
Finding the grid — no calibration needed
Whenever the stash is open, ePOE finds the tab's cell grid in the game window by itself, at any resolution, aspect ratio and UI scale, and tells a normal 12×12 tab from a 24×24 quad tab. It keeps that grid while it still matches and only searches again when it stops matching or the window changes size. Special tabs reuse the grid last found on a normal tab.
Calibration is now a fallback
If the grid can't be found (something covering the stash, an unusual UI), ePOE falls back to your own calibration, and then to the shipped estimate. Only calibrate if badges still sit a cell off:
- Press Calibrate grid in the Grid calibration section.
- In game, open your stash, hover the centre of the top-left cell and press your track hotkey.
- Hover the centre of the bottom-right cell and press it again. Escape cancels, and the wizard gives up after a minute.
A confirmation card shows the solved grid. Reset to default restores the shipped ratios. A badge drawn with a dashed border couldn't be snapped to a cell and sits at the exact spot you tracked it. After a bad calibration, Forget all and track again.
Reporting a badge in the wrong place
Each full grid search saves the frame it looked at to %APPDATA%\ePoe Overlay\scanner-captures\stash-grid, and the stash-header read to …\scanner-captures\stash-header whenever what it sees changes (at most once a minute). The newest 20 of each are kept. Attach the newest one to a report under Help → Submit a Bug when badges land off-cell or show on a closed stash.
For the value of a whole stash rather than a handful of cells, see My Shop and pricing.
