In 0.14.0 the Ritual scanner and the Forbidden Rites advisor became one tool: Ritual Loot. If you used the old Forbidden Rites page, everything it did — Tribute, reroll and Audience advice — is on the Ritual Loot page now.
The short version
- Open the Ritual reward window in Path of Exile 2 so the whole board is visible.
- Press
Ctrl+Alt+R. It opens the Ritual Loot page in the desktop app (you can rebind it under Overlays → Hotkeys). - Press Scan Ritual rewards. Recognition plus pricing takes a couple of seconds.
- Look back at the game: rewards worth at least your Highlight threshold are outlined for about 15 seconds — gold when a reward is worth a Divine or more, blue otherwise. The highlights are click-through.
What changed under the hood
- The board is found on the screen, not assumed at a fixed spot. It works at any resolution and aspect ratio, including ultrawide and 5:4 / 4:3 screens where the grid used to line up wrong.
- Rewards are separated by their frames, so a large item is one reward instead of several fragments.
- Rewards are named by their artwork with the background removed, and Omens have their own matcher.
- The catalogue covers every unique, Omen and Augment — including uniques with no market price. Those are still named; they just are not highlighted, because there is no value to compare.
Only confident matches are highlighted. A reward the scanner is not sure about is listed as "Possible: …" on the page instead.
Tuning the advice
The Tribute, reroll and Audience fields work as before: fill in your reroll cost, the floor below which a board counts as weak, and what an Audience is worth to you. Changing them updates the advice without re-scanning.
If a scan looks wrong
- Close anything drawn over the board (chat, another overlay) and scan again.
- Price-check anything expensive with
Ctrl+Alt+Dbefore committing a lot of Tribute to it — the item text is the source of truth.
