0.14.0 replaced the old stat-range setting with sliders right in the price panel, and added optional mod-count filters.
The roll-range slider
In the rare filters, Roll range sets the default search range for every mod, as a percentage of your roll. It goes from 50% to 150% and starts at 90%. Your choice is saved for the next item.
Each kind of stat starts from a sensible minimum:
- Defences and damage (armour, evasion, energy shield, physical and elemental damage, DPS): 90% of your roll.
- Life, mana, spirit, resistances, attack and cast speed, crit: 95% — 5 points tighter.
- Sockets, levels and other exact counts: searched at the exact value, with no slider.
Moving the global slider moves all of them together. The slack always goes to the stat's worse side, so "reduced" rolls and lower-is-better stats get a correctly oriented bound.
Per-mod sliders (Advanced mode)
Switch the panel to Advanced and each mod gets its own Roll range slider, from 70% to 130%. Use it to hold the one mod that carries the price tight while loosening the filler. Hover a slider and the mouse wheel steps it by one.
The global slider is hidden while the filters are in Weighted mode.
Mod-count filters
The filter rail has an optional Mod counts row. Each chip requires at least this item's number of that kind of mod, and is off until you click it:
- prefixes and suffixes;
- crafted, desecrated, fractured or unrevealed mods;
- resistance counts, and totals such as fire, cold and lightning resistance or movement speed.
Use them when the *shape* of an item matters — an open suffix, or a desecrated mod still to reveal.
Why the suggestion is not the cheapest listing
The trade site returns results cheapest first. A price taken only from the cheapest few is really the price of the *worst* items that happened to match. Since 0.14.0 the price check:
- samples listings across the whole result, not just the top of it;
- counts at most two listings per seller, so one seller's wall cannot set the price;
- never counts your own listings;
- caps the suggestion at the cheapest listing that is at least as good as your item.
So expect suggestions to sit closer to what comparable items actually sell for, and occasionally above the single cheapest bargain.
